Accessibility Statement

Giggi Hytten is committed to making this website and its online booking service accessible to as many people as possible. This statement applies to the Giggi Hytten website, including the feratel TOSC5 website widget embedded on the Booking page.

Compliance status

The website has not yet undergone a complete independent accessibility audit and is therefore not described as fully conformant. This assessment is based on internal checks of the website and feratel’s published assessment of the booking widget against WCAG 2.2 Level AA and EN 301 549.

According to feratel, the TOSC5 website widget is partially conformant with WCAG 2.1 Level AA and EN 301 549 because of the limitations listed below.

Known limitations of the booking widget

  • Some non-text content does not have an equivalent text alternative.
  • Certain information, structures or relationships cannot be determined reliably by assistive technologies.
  • Some headings and labels do not describe their content or purpose sufficiently.
  • Some input fields do not provide sufficient labels or instructions.
  • The name, role, state or value of some controls is not always provided correctly, and changes are not always announced.
  • Status messages are not always exposed in a way that assistive technologies can interpret without moving focus.

Feratel also states that making PDF documents contained in the widget accessible and providing the statement in easy-to-read language currently represent a disproportionate burden.

If the barrier concerns the TOSC5 website widget, we will forward the report to feratel when appropriate.

Enforcement procedure

If you do not receive a satisfactory response, you can contact the complaints office of the Austrian Research Promotion Agency: FFG complaints office.

Preparation of this statement

This statement was prepared on 17 September 2026 using an internal review of the website and feratel’s published information about the TOSC5 website widget. It will be reviewed when the website, booking widget or applicable requirements change.
